We used 2SM after hearing some good reviews. We have had a very negative experience and would not recommend them. -They were 3 hours late and I had to call 3 times to find out when they were coming. They were scheduled to arrive between 11-12 and arrived at 3:30. At 2pm we were told they were on their way (from Red Deer to Lacombe) -The movers were friendly and we took them through the house and told them what needed to be packed and what stayed for staging. Written instructions for each room were also left. Our luggage for our vacation were packed and required us to unpack half of our things to reach it. -Upon removal of the boxes to reach our luggage we discovered boxed that were open, unmarked (room) and item thrown into boxed (ie: books and games not stacked in boxes but dumped in). Boxes had fallen over, holes punched in some and heavy boxes pack on top of lighter one so they are crushed. -We contacted the company and were asked to send pictures and Dave would talk to the movers and get back to to us. Nothing has come of it and none of our phone calls are returned and our email has also gone unanswered. -To top it off, food was opened and consumed (and left in the basement) from our fridge and freezer. We have not unpacked not seen in past the edges but I am very disappointed and concerned about the condition of the contents of our house.

Professional service, fast, reasonable prices, great guys. They pack and move everything for you and they even have the packing material if you need it. I forgot to get mattress bags and they even had them available for purchase. I would recommend them to everyone looking to move.

The guys did a great job moving a piano for us. They were prompt, friendly, and were very careful not to damage anything. All this was done in minus 30 degree weather. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

These guys were great. We were moving 2 apartments into 1 house, so we had 3 guys come and they made it smooth and easy. They were on time, they were friendly, they were quick, and everything got here safe. Price was quite reasonable, I thought.

If anyone ever needs a mover in Regina I highly recommend Two Small Men with Big Hearts! The guys might look a little rough but they had a fabulous ponytail and sense of humor. :) As a single female I never once felt uncomfortable. They were very professional. They took great care with my belongings and the properties. They even offered me advice about the neighborhood.

Moved within Regina. Quoted $450 max. Came to $750 with their breaks. Had to go and buy them drinks. Which is fine. But then charged us for that time and their lunch break. Stuff came broken and all cloth were dirty with greases gloves. Nice guys but we feel ripped off. Same thing happened to our neighbour.

Small but heavy load and a LOT of stairs. Very fast and didn't skip a beat. Friendly and joking the whole time when clearly they where exhausted. This is the second time I'm using this business for a move and once again I'm not disappointed. Keep up the good work. Rounding up is their policy, and charging for drive time makes sense. You pay the amount for the convenience. Hiring help is never cheap.

My mother got these people to move her belongings, she had used them prior and paid $300 for the move out of town, which I get 5 years their may be a little hike in price but not this bad and not only did a driver/mover by the name of mike, move her, he damaged her belongings with his moving partner, and tryed to hide it by not mentioning it at all to her, she also bought some new furniture that is beyond repair now with scratches and chunks taken out of the wooden parts, she has recently had a rough start to the year, so this was more than devastating, they charged her $850.00 for a 5 hour move, he stayed til 2:10 but charged for a half hour extra because he said he was "rounding up" , after a number of smoke breaks and sweeping out their truck, they asked for a tip after everything was done and not only did they complain about having to move certain items, she is out hundreds of dollars repairing her furniture and accessories, I wouldn't recommend anyone use this service or be very cautious in doing so, she wasn't expecting to pay a months rent for a move that was only supposed to take a few hours! Unbelievable!

DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS!!! TWO OF THE SAME COMPLAINTS IN 2 WEEKS!!!!!! NEWTON BOYS MOVINGAlso does work as I felt like I was over charged for what I received after the quote was $140 and hour and I paid $180. lots of damage in items moved and walls. I called around for movers and after talking to Two small men, they assured me they price was the best and that they will bag my mattresses, wrap the furniture, take anything that was in the house except flammables and garbage. They scheduled at 9:00 on December the 1st. The showed up at 9:45. Three guys and a truck. I questioned it saying I only needed two guys, I was told they normally have 2 but sent 3 because they had 3 other moves today and wanted to make sure it was done quickly. A guy, I believe his name is Ernie, smelt like booze, like to the point that he had a drink minutes before he showed up at my place. The guys showed up with no wrap, just the moving blankets, and no totes. I was told that they would be able to throw odds and ends in there. When they showed up they had to remove the door in the hallway. And had no tools. No tools for the door or for removing legs off the furniture, or to take it apart items because they couldn't lift it. I spent 30 mins looking for tools to try and help them out. Out of the 3 guys I mainly saw two working, they kept taking smoke breaks and even had a radio playing in the back of the van. which makes me wonder how long they were planning to spend in the back of the van. I instructed them what to take, and let them do their thing. I was in a hurry to try and find something to pack up the remaining items and couldn't hold their hands as they were moving. As they were just finishing up, another person in the apartment building asked if they can help move couches for him. One of the movers said he needed couches for his house. And then loaded them into the van. First off I am paying for these guys buy the hour. And secondly I do not know if there are bed bugs on the couches, and now you are mixing it with my furniture. After that we set off for the new place. I took my truck and left. I could not tell them I was unhappy because all my items were in the back of their van. I was moving in Regina from the north to the east end about a 10-15 mins drive. 30 mins later they show back up. They spend about 15 mins trying to back the van up before they just give up and back it up as close as they can. As soon as they arrived they demanded I give them a credit card number, Well I wasn't sure what time they will finish so I didn't want to put a charge through, He told me they will hold onto the card to assure payment, and when they are done they will put the transaction through as well as give me a complete pricing break down. assured me it was standard procedure. I didn't feel like I wanted to take a chance with holding my items hostage in the back of their truck, so I had no choice but to hand over my master card. As they were moving I noticed a guy drop the picture frame because he was carrying it at the top of course it pulled out and smashed, He told me I can glue it back together, and of course you cant. The mattresses were not bagged or wrapped like they said they were and of course they are all black and dirty. The walls going into the basement are all scraped and damaged from when they tried to take a fireplace downstairs and didn't feel like strapping it, of course it wouldn't fit. Also the dishwasher damaged the wall after it swung from the landing. The blind is destroyed on the back of the door from people peessing against it. When they were done and presented me with the bill and I saw the wrong amount, he told me I would have to call the owner, and that these things happen all the time. The owner is only there from 9 until 11 and could not be reached. I called the following morning and he was no help at all. Basically saying I hired them, its my fault.

This company provided a move that was perfect. Friendly, professional and fast. No charge for add-ons. The truck was huge. Thanks so much for turning a stressful day into a good one.

Would recommend these guys to everyone. Hard-working, respectful, and careful with all of our belongings on move day. Nothing was a problem from getting my furniture into the right rooms, and finishing under the estimated time. Thank you. Great job!

Do not use!!!! We booked our movers 2 months ahead. They called 1 hour ahead and said they couldn't make it because their truck was down. A good company would have rented a uhaul and fulfilled their obligation. We ended up having to move ourselves because nobody else could help us on short notice. We had small kids at the time. Worst day ever....do not use this company ever.

Absolutely NEVER use. After given a $575 quote and coming in UNDER time, the mover tried to charge me double. There were no carpet runners laid, new paint completely ruined. Upon calling customer service, I was told "the mover has chosen to do nothing to compensate you, and I support that". The most unprofessional, dishonest, movers that I have EVER hired.

For starters, the company was easy to work with. They even called the day before the move to reconfirm the appointment. The movers, Jim and Bob, were polite and fast, and even showed me a couple of great packing techniques. None of the furniture was damaged, and best of all, they made the hassle and stress of moving seem so simple.

DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER!!! I called a few days ago and booked with this company for August. I did not get a confirmation and just wanted to verify rates, etc. I called this number which is the Burnaby office and was told that I must have booked with a different location. The crazy person on the phone told me that I have to call the other location and "while I was at it to tell them that they we in their territory" and hung up on me. I could not get a word in and she was extremely rude and disrespectful! I did call the other location and verified my booking, got a very different and pleasant experience with the other location so I am actually very glad I had booked with them initially. Suffice it to say that the lady that answers the phones at the Burnaby office should be FIRED!

Do not hire this company! Their movers are young, inexperienced, lack the proper equipment needed to move your belongings. The "men" aka boys that we hired showed up intoxicated, stole from us, damaged our belongings and our house. I have photo evidence and a police report.

Two Small Men were very professional. On the day of the move, they arrived on time. I did not have to worry about a thing because they moved everything carefully and efficiently. They handled all my furniture with care, and within hours I was moved into my new place. I would highly recommend them.

Racism and Sarcasm. The conduct of one of the employees of this company was horrendous. On two occasions did this individual demonstrate disregard for his fellow partner, and disregard for myself, the customer. Example 1: After his partner returns to the truck to get more items the employee says, and I quote verbatim, "Just my luck, today I get stuck with the stereotypical Mexican". (An apparent jab at his partners "laziness") I was incredibly shocked at those words, and on top of that I had perceived no difference between the two employees on that matter. They both seemed to move the same amount of items. This attitude is unacceptable and I hope will be followed up on. Example 2: The same individual demonstrated consistent disregard for my advice on how to move certain items. In many cases what occurred was that he tried it "his way" then only conceded after through wasted time and effort, and possible damage to the structure around it. Example 3: When moving some larger items into the living room I made the request to place items (couch, tv, tv stand) a certain way. The individual stopped and said blankly "No." Not sure how to respond I just go "...Ok?". Later I found that he was joking and would of course do it the way I asked. Now, jokes, absolutely are okay to me. But the reality is, I'm paying 500$ (at least) for this service. It's a lot of money to me. I don't believe I paid for sarcasm in there. I paid for a moving service called "2 small men with big hearts". Please treat me, and your employees with respect. I will not recommend this service to anyone I know, nor will I use it again.

These guys are fantastic - quick, efficient, and cheap. they were very upfront about the costs- told me before booking about the minimum 2 hours and unlike other moving companies i've used in the past, there were no additional costs such as booking fees, etc. definitely the smoothest and most pleasant moving experience i've had- i will definitely be using these guys for any future moves i may have!

My sister and I used to move in 2004 and the two movers where great. I used then in 2011 the two movers where good. I moved in December 2012 one move did all the work and the second guy I guess had a late night and was tired let the first mover do all the work. I used them August 25th, 2013 and I had mentioned to the company what issue I had on the last move. The two movers I had basically confronted me about the statement I made to their office. I explained what happened. Long story short it took them overy to load boxes, and and couch up when set of stairs from the basement to main floor. It took them 3 hours to unload go from the main floor second floor which was one long set set of stairs. I got asked at one point if I had breakables and I said I did all my kitchen wear had glass. I was wondering about that question but I didn't put together till the next day. They also refused to move their truck to the back of the building they parked their truck across the street which made the move I swear an extra 1hr 1/2. You get charged a hour for travel time yet I moved bascailly 10 minutes away from my last place. They also didn't care hoe they packed my boxes onto the doll he laied them on they sides. I also had my boxes places upside down on the floor of my new place. The one mover refused to put all my boxes into my storage room because the way the door open he said I would be add a extra hour of moving time. I labelled all my 1, 2, 3 and I told thme repeatedly where I wanted the boxes buy the one mover ignored me put my stuff all over, he was the one who said it coast extra hour for him to laid all my boxes in the storage room. The next day I had the cable company come in and I tried to turn on my laptop the screen was ruined. My laptop was in a suitcase with other stuff everything else (my camera) fine and it was beside my laptop. My laptop was also wrapped with clothing and bubble wrap around it. I actually didn't want the movers to take my suitecase but they alead had it loaded into the back of the truck and I believe I told one of them I was taking it with me. The move previous to this was 3 hours plus 1 hour travel time. Last move was from 2nd flr to a basement suite. This move was 7 hours and I have around the same amount of boxes and a couch and a larger bed. I will say one thing that was very nice about the mover who told me it cost me extra sat on my bedroom floor and put together my bedframe.

I am single grandmother raising my grandchildren and they totally took advantage. When I hired them I was not told of the $150 travel fee until they arrived. I never would have hired them if I had known. I had little choice but to agree as I had to be out of the premises. And then the movers took their time as they smoked cigarettes, talked on the phone and ate lunch. One of them even invited his girlfriend over for a visit. All on my time. It took them over 70 minutes to make the 30 minute trip. When I called into complain the manager was extremely rude. No-one has yet to respond to my complaint. Do Not Use this company.

I am not saying that moving is an easy experience, but everyone at made it as painless as they possibly could. I used the packing service also and from the moment they arrived to do the packing in the previous day, they were very effective, efficient and dedicated to their job and they finished the packing in a lot less time than I thought they would.

Awful company. M mom booked a move and confirmed it with their call centre only to not have the message relayed to the local movers. She ended up being in the hospital before the move and they tried calling to confirm the move and when she wasn't home all their messages grew more and more irritated and angry. When the day of the move happened they didn't show and when we called to ask them where they were the manager for the Surrey location immediately started flinging attitude at us and hung up. We had to scramble to find a u haul and people to help with the move. When I tried to talk to someone at their head office they kept telling me they would look into it and get back to me. That was two weeks ago. Do yourself a a favor and don't go with these guys. Super unprofessional and rude. I will go out of my way to tell people I know to never use this company.

Won't be using them again. Offered to help do one thing, then told I would be charged full hr for the work, "company policy" Then when I said yes to the help, was told they don't have tools to complete the work and can't do it. They seemed like they couldn't get out of there fast enough, even when job was finished in 2hrs. Gave directions and where to park for unloading, instead took up neighbors x3 driveways, and still asked where my entrance was! I said "in the front of the building" Never again!!!! Was suppose to be stress free and considerate of others, instead I'm out four hundred for two hrs work, and still waiting for some furniture to get into my place from outside!

Absolutely the worst moving company ever. I bought a cooler from another store and asked these guys to move it, they said they'd show up by 1:30pm but didn't show up by 2pm. Then they came into the store and one guy was trying to move the cooler while the other "senior" guy told him to stop because he doesn't "know what he's doing." The senior guy then came into with some floor mats acting as if he were trying to load the cooler onto them, assuring me that he's done this many times and got it under control. But apparently the less capable guy made a phone call to their HQ and had a change of heart, so told us they'd abandon the job and left the cooler right in the middle of the store. They said they could do it but they had another appointment at 2pm and they thought it was only a 10 minute job but now it's not. Wonderful estimation there because it takes 30 minutes just to drive to my store from there, and . So I called back their management and told them they couldn't just leave the cooler blocking customers' access, but apparently these liars told them it was moved only a feet and they took their word for it. Then the phone operators, one guy and one woman, tried to pin the blame on me since I asked 2 guys instead of 3 and they didn't do the job because of manpower shortage, even though right off the bat I told them the exact dimension of my cooler. so who's the liar and who's the idiot? I say all of them

Doreen. This woman is on a power trip. I called in to discuss the quote I got from her email, which was detailed, but highly outrageous for the price they were asking to move a one bedroom (no large appliances). I was told in a nasty tone "then find somewhere else". Maybe two small men might have big hearts, I'll never know, but Doreen could sure use some Netflix and chill time. You should be more nice to inquiringly clients, just a FYI. So look somewhere else I shall.
